How to tell when a dream is from God?

I am trying to remember my dreams more. Sometimes I wake up with just a feeling of peace like I just had a peaceful dream and I know its God but dont remembr the dream!

Well I've heard that all dreams are from God. But I am not sure about that because there's that scripture that says
..to take every thought captive..2Cor10:5
implying not all our thoughts are from God.As if there is access to our minds not just our self thoughts but also the enemy. I know for myself when I have a God dream. The easy way to explain it is
I know that I know.
