Mia, first of all thank you so much for allowing me to do this. Its an honor and im so excited about sharing these things with everyone!

God revealed to me that certain people are chosen for His purposes. They are instruments for Him, but they dont always play for Him. Just for a minute, imagine your spiritual gift as a saxaphone. Not everyone knows how to play one when they first purchase it. It's something that must be practiced; it has to be a desire of your heart to play it, and play it well. It is also something that must be learned at the hands of a Master. There is the Master, and there are those who can play an instrument so well it inspires you so much because they hit every note just right; (this is what God wants for us). God is our Master Instructor, He wants us to always come to Him first, He wants to teach you how to play your saxaphone. I am no world renown saxaphone player but God wants me to play certain notes from time to time. Those notes are messages. And God told me to proclaim that what He wants His musicians to do is to practice. PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE!! He WANTS to move you to a higher level! Now that is exciting! To know that if you bear the gift, you also have the Master who delights in teaching you how to use it! He will give you understanding, knowledge, and the courage to step out in faith with His Word!!!

If you are praying about your gift, you are practicing. If you are asking God about your gift, you are practicing. If you are searching the bible about your gift, you are practicing. If you attempt to operate your gift in faith, you are practicing!!!

Praise God!!! He is willing and able to meet all our needs in Christ Jesus. He can, and will give you what you ask in Jesus name! He is not willing that His children go about with any lack of knowledge. Jeremiah 29:13 says "You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." Matthew 7:7 says "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you." If learning how to play your instrument is the desire of your heart, and you are banging on the Master's door...Honey, when that door opens, understanding is gonna pour out on you like a flood! Praise God and Thank you Jesus! Amen and Amen!

It ministered to me!

I have been sharing this message with everyone I know for the past week because God has really inspired it in me....The bible says, CULTIVATE YOUR GIFTS! Work your gifts to cause them to grow is the message!!!!!!!

And for the last three weeks, every week during intercession God has been putting it on my heart that people do not pray and they do not ask - we have to ASK! Jesus had to ask for the nations which means you have to ask for your thing too! My pastor preached on it last night - ASK! PRAY! PRAY LIKE YOUR LIFE DEPENDED ON IT - with fervency and effectually!

how do you know what your spiritual gifts are? do they just show up when you are doing regular things? do they stand out? i mean, if they are spiritual, then, they must be different from just talents right? I've asked God to show me my spiritual gifts and also prayed for them also. this topic is so interesting to me because i would like to move in deeper with the Lord.

I had little things happen to me here and there over the course of my life that were defininitely related to revelation knowledge and prophecy but I did not know it at the time. It took God really pouring out prophetic dreams and daily occurrences of seeing things in the future before I finally put the two together.

Has there EVER been anything in your life that has struck you as a little bit amazing and different?

the only things have been my dreams but as i said, i didn't get serious enough to really see that God was speaking to me until I started reading over my dreams, and the fact that sometimes i can know when things happen but other than that no. its so interesting that when i first became a christian, what i saw was interesting was i knew why someone was upset before they told me. it just came into my mind. since then, my life has been kind of boring in that sense, like what happens to you, it doesnt happen to me although people have told me i have this prophetic gift, i 'd like to know where they are getting that from. unless i am truly blind, i just dont see it. but i will pray a lot more about it and let you know what the Lord tells me
