God cares about even the small things.

I wasn't planning on posting about this topic today, but I figured i would since what happened today took me by surprise. About a week ago my dog ran away AGAIN. Every time I would have a dream about him coming back, the next day he would. Well, its been a week and still no dreams. Now My husband, Jeff, and I are animal lovers; if we had a million acres we would have a million rescued animals. Last night i dreamed i was showing this man a picture of my dogs. In this picture was my husky, (the dog we've had) my austrailian shepherd, (the dog that ran away) and a litter of fluffy tan puppies. In the dream I told the man my aussie ran away and found a new home but if he came back we would take him. Then i remembered telling him we gave the litter of tan puppies away, and only kept one of them. So i had one tan puppy and my husky and we were waiting for our other one to return. Now its also important for you to know that my husband has been annoyed with me. He sees the miracles and KNOWS that prophetic dreams are real. He lives with me so he hears about it every day. But he told me the other day how hes so tired of only hearing about it after it happens. I then asked the Lord for an opportunity to show him before something happened. Well today, out of the blue, my husband asks me "Hey do you want to go to the humaine society?" It SHOCKED me because my husband was very attached to the other dog and so am I. I just looked at him and some sort of madness took hold of me and i said "sure babe." lol So here we go to the Dallas humaine society and he volenteers to go inside while i stay inside the car with our two boys. He finally comes back all excited and asks me for some money so he can go buy this dog i knew nothing about. He told me there was a litter of them. I said "Now wait a minute, i want to go see it too what does it look like?" before he could answer, I said "Wait, was the dog fluffy?" he says yes. "Was the dog tan?" he says yes. I said "Let me go see my new baby!!!" his jaw was on the floor and i told him about my dream. I was like "Praise God thank you Jesus!"..but the meaning of the dream hadn't fully sunk in until i'd gone inside. It was so difficult to leave those other dogs...i wanted to take the whole litter home. but i remembered my dream and that if they had been ours at home we would have ended up giving them away anyway. It was so sad.. I had such a hard time. I'm so soft hearted when it comes to animals and children. But the dream I had brought me comfort because I knew it was ok to adopt a new one. I was so greatful to God that He'd answered my prayer regarding my husband. He also added a new member to our family and we are still waiting in faith for our other dog to come home.

Thank you Jesus for answered prayers and comforting us when we need it. You take the time to consol us with even the smallest issues in our lives. You are AMAZING God of the Universe, you hear us when we call and you lift us up when we are down. Thank you God for loving your children and watching our every footsteps avidly. There is NO ONE LIKE YOU Sweet Lord! AMEN!
