GLORY TO GOD!!!! USE YOUR RECORDERS FOLKS!!!!

Last night i woke up to record a dream that i couldnt remember.(on my hand held voice recorder) I recorded most of the feelings i had and i was able to keep a few pictures from the dream etched in my brain before i woke up and forgot them.

In the dream i was pushing my son in a cart. for some reason he was a big black guy wearing a cowboy hat. I knew there were obsticles and that his sister was trying to keep him from winning. She was pushing up against him a lot and by the end i knew it was going to be close..at times i wasnt sure if my son would win or not but i finally pushed him through. The feelings i recorded were that "there was a race, someone cheated and my guy won" also that the girl was disappointed because she couldnt win." I also remember feeling like FINALLY he won and i also had these feelings of "Finally" that i had an interpretation for. I knew i was glad he finally won, but i also knew it was a prophetic dream and i would be waiting all day for it to happen. I knew that the "finally" feelings i had were going to be from seeing the prophecy come to pass the next day. I got all that from this dream. FEELINGS ARE SO IMPORTANT TO RECORD!!!

OH MY!!!! I've mentioned before my husband LOVES football. AND THE DALLAS COWBOYS!!! I looked all day for this dream to take place. I had no idea what it could be about. Then my husband comes home tonight and is like "Hey babe we have a pre season Cowboy game tonight" I never have enjoyed football. EVER. i never had the desire to understand or get excited about the game. But i promised my husband I would watch it with him and learn about the sport. There we were...it was the first quarter and i looked at my husband and said. "The cowboys are gonna win. its gonna be close but the cowboys are going to win." I told him the whole dream and my feelings and we watched the cowboys beat the houston texans. I felt like the cowboys cheated because of a bad call they made. also the teams were like siblings because they were both teams for texas. The whole time i was rooting for the cowboys to win just like i was pushing that cowboy in the cart in my dream. I had a feeling of FINALLY when i realized it was the prophetic dream i'd had the night before AND when we won because since the first quarter i had been wanting to post about this! for the next 3 quarters i kept telling my husband "its gonna be close babe its gonna be close!" WE WON 23 to 22!!! Im telling you in the first quarter i wanted to post this because i was so sure of Gods word to me in the middle of the night! PLEASE USE YOUR RECORDERS!!! if you dont have one buy one and wake your self up to record a dream even if you cant remember it! I didnt remember a lot of the details of the dream until i started watching the game. ALSO, there is NO WAY i would have remembered all that unless i'd had that recorder. the beautiful thing is that you dont have to wake all the way up to record this stuff. i recomend you stay half asleep when recording because you remember more from the dream...especially the feelings! GOD IS SO GOOD! there was no better way to get me into a football game!

God knows what we are going through before we do! He knows what our day is going to be like tomorrow and ten years from now. I was given this prophetic word about the cowboys because God knew I was going to watch the game tonight. You may have had a job interview or something today when the night before God whispered the outcome in your ear and gave you some advice. just something to chew on.

Daph, I cannot give enough emphasis to using the recorders. Since you've encouraged me to do it I've remember SO MANY dreams that I would not have known I had forgotten if it wasn't for the recorder.

Folks, if you aren't using a recorder I have no doubt you are missing on some important stuff.

God has given me an awesome memory and I often remember most details to my dream when I record them in my journal (manually)...but this has given me confidence to remember more so I'm gonna have to buy that recorder and see what else awesome things God will reveal!!!!

Just a question of practicality: How do you keep from waking your spouse when you record??? Are your spouses OK w/ you doing this? My husband is still skeptical about my dreams, despite the fact that even he can only give credit to God for some of them. My husband is FANTASTIC. But, the analogy he and I have come up with is that if he were a tree, he'd be an oak. Very predictable. Very solid. He has a gift of faith. He has a beautiful prominent place in our front yard. Me - well, we're still trying to figure out what kind of tree I am - we're leaning towards a palm. So, when I come and tell him about some of the dreams I've had or the prophetic whisperings that God has given me, sometimes the oak in him just doesn't understand. So, how does it work for you to use a voice recorder?

I am all for recording my dreams. What does it cost for a small recorder?

I just bought one for my husband - he does sports reporting. He wanted a digital one as he had the outdated one that used mini-cassettes. I found some for $29.99. Ultimately, I got a mid-priced one at Best Buy for $39.99 (on sale). Some of the go up as much as $200.
