Younger version of themselves

Hi all,
Was wondering why, in a dream, people sometimes look younger than they are IRL. Everything else can be the same as it would be right this minute, but they may be or look younger.

Could it be that it's the "spiritual self"?? I would think it could mean two things:

1. Symbolic of their spiritual state (maturity level)
2. Symbolic of them spiritually (not aging like the body does)

I hope this helps and I hope I'm not way off base here.

maybe how they see themselves or how you see them (not all that important or immature--as mentioned before)? Could that person also be symbolic of someone else--as in their personality or who they are remind you of someone else who may be similar?

I believe we see ourselves in our spirit man. Just my thought.
