In Church With Old Ladies

Hello Everyone,

Dream:

I'm sitting in the pew of this church. Its kind of empty. One by one old Caucasian ladies were going up to pray or be prayed for. Then this old lady is waving for me to come on. I see Mother Johnson (a prayer warrior in my church, older woman) sitting in a pew to my right. I get up to make my way to the old lady but I'm very hesitant. She moves me along by hitting me hard on my left arm and I fall down. I stayed down on the ground crying. Mother Johnson came over to comfort and encourage me. Any thoughts?

I-speak-the-word, I'm sorry i don't have an interp,,,,, but I must say this is one of the funniest dreams I have read in a long while....the way you described the chain of events gave me an actual visual image,,,,it is almost as if I am sitiing at the movies!!!!!!!! while others may have an answer, I just wonted to say that your post has lifted my spirit....please don't take me wrong.

If I have interpreted this dream right you should be
excited, because I believe it is a correction dream. I personally love
correction dreams because they help me the most when it comes to progression.
This is what I believe the interpretation of your dream is:


I believe the old lady represents wisdom and the Holy Spirit is
calling for you to go to a place of prayer/consecration. You then look over at
Mother Johnson who you view as a women that is a consecrated woman and a prayer
warrior (which is why she is to your right… because you view her as doing
things the right way). When you are hesitant to go forward wisdom then comes
and chastises you. You are struck on your left arm because left tends to
represent gifting that you were born with and arm represents strength. You were
struck on the left side because you have been able to operate out of your own
strength and gifting. Once you were striked on your left arm you fell down. You
falling down symbolizes you being humbled after the Holy Spirit chastises you.
After which mother Johnson comes to comfort you. When God chastises us He does
it because He loves us so she is there to edify you and be the example of what
God is calling you to.


So to sum it up, God doesn’t want you to
operate out of your own strengths and get by off of gifting, but he wants you
completely set apart, consecrated and living a life of prayer. He wants to be
your dependency instead of your own strength. When you begin to do that you
will flourish like “Mother Johnson”

Love's Child, thank you for responding to my dream. I will definitely take what you have said to the Lord. I have actually been in prayer and consecration before I had this dream. Maybe the Lord is requiring more of me. You mentioned that I may be trying to move in my own abilities and this is true. Thank you for your insight, I will be praying about this dream.
